GMOUG Special Event Cancellation Policy
In an effort to keep unnecessary costs down - and thus in the long run,
provide more benefit to all our members - the GMOUG board has voted to enact a policy
regarding cancellation refunds for GMOUG special annual or quarterly events. These
are normally held at a hotel or banquet facility, where we are required to guarantee our
cost in advance based upon a specified number of attendees. For such events, our
policy is as follows:
- Attendees who have pre-paid, but cancel by the appropriate
means 5 or more business days before the event, will receive a full refund, less a $5 processing fee.
- For cancellations less than 5 business days in advance of the event, there will be no refund.
Please note that normal events, such as round tables or local speakers, will not be subject to
this policy Bylaws of the GMOUG, Inc.
